Influent Flow Metering

Plant influent is measured by a Parshall flume following screening and grit removal. Level in the flume is measured using an ultrasonic probe. A digital flow indicator display is mounted near the flume. A similar digital flow indicator, a flow totalizer with a digital indicator and a circular chart recorder is located in the plant Main Control Panel (MCP) in the office area of the Operations Building.
